Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Technician to join our team in Kuwait. In this role, you will oversee laboratory operations, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and lead a team of technicians to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our state-of-the-art facility.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of laboratory technicians
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures
• Analyze and interpret data, preparing comprehensive reports for management
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize laboratory processes
• Train and mentor junior laboratory staff
• Manage inventory and coordinate the procurement of supplies and equipment
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a lab technician, with demonstrated supervisory experience
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various laboratory equipment
• Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and data analysis techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Thorough understanding of safety protocols and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA)
• Familiarity with laboratory best practices and industry standards
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office suite
