Your day to day
â˘Manage information technology systems, hardware and software applications to vocoÂŽ Doha West Bay Suites IT standards.â˘Oversee the development and implementation of a disaster recovery plan that ensures business continuity whilst minimizing losses associated with downtime.â˘Undertake routine risk management and audit processes to ensure compliance by system users and compliance with vocoÂŽ Doha West Bay Suites IT standards.â˘Develop a troubleshooting guide and train key staff in IT systems and application use.â˘Ensure all operating systems, licences and service agreements are kept up to date and that external vendors comply with agreed response times, SLAâs and budget.â˘Monitors file server performance, back-ups and system performance in line with agreed standards.â˘Manage system and firewall security and implement updates as required.â˘Update IT policies and procedures in accordance with vocoÂŽ Doha West Bay Suites IT standards and with regard to systems and process enhancements.â˘Maintain user database and ensure user profiles are updated in accordance with personnel changes.â˘Manage, users and accounts in accordance with vocoÂŽ Doha West Bay Suites IT standards.â˘Develop and manage IT business process strategy to ensure future state requirements are planned for and implemented within agreed timeframes.â˘Attend to system maintenance and breakdown requirements in a timely manner.â˘Work closely with external providers to develop effective relationships are maintained and that service delivery is of a âbest practiceâ standard.â˘Identify opportunities to reduce IT related costs through managing processes in house.â˘Prepare and submit IT management reports as required.â˘Attend to guest related IT enquiries and provide assistance as required.â˘Maintain and update the computer hardware asset register.â˘Ensure all vocoÂŽ Doha West Bay Suites policies are adhered toâ˘Maintain confidentiality at all times.â˘Uphold high standards in professional conduct at all times including grooming, communications and general conduct.â˘Attend to various IT related tasks as they arise from time to time as directed by the General Manager.Ensure all support licenses

Education
â˘Formal qualifications in Information Technology i.e. Bachelor of Science majoring in Information Technology (or equivalent)Experience
â˘Well developed computerized hotel systems skills including hardware and software applications.â˘Previous experience within a hotel operations environmentTechnical/ Skills
â˘High degree of competency in hotel PMS application..â˘Competent Oral and Written English Communication Skillsâ˘Strong organizational skills to manage multiple assignments and project management through to delivery.â˘Personal Attributesâ˘âCan doâ attitude and a high level of energyâ˘Ability to prioritize tasks and meet the needs of internal customerâ˘Able to manage tasks simultaneously and work under pressureAdaptable and flexible to change
