IT Delivery Lead - Infrastructure & Cloud

As an IT Delivery Lead - Infrastructure & Cloud, you will manage and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams to drive the successful implementation of technical products. Establish and maintain delivery standards while overseeing daily planning, coordination, and team engagement to ensure consistent performance and the delivery of high-quality outcomes and meaningful value for business stakeholders.

In this role you will:

• Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of project activities from the technical product backlog to delivery, ensuring timely business value realization.
• Facilitate key ceremonies including backlog refinement, planning sessions, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies removing impediments andblockers to ensure optimal flow of value across initiatives.
• Define and maintain robust delivery processes, drive ongoing improvement initiatives, and implement best practices. Ensure adherence to Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done (DoD) and the effective use of project management tools such as Planview and JIRA.
• Manage suppliers effectively and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, using appropriate project management tools and methodologies.
• Partner with Technical Product Owners to refine and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals. Oversee the execution of project, manage stakeholder expectations and maintain visibility across scope, timeline, and budget.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning by coaching the team towards greater autonomy, accountability, and delivery excellence. Guide the team in applying project management principles to achieve optimal business outcomes.

Qualification

To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:

• Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
• 5+ years of experience within Information Technology and Project Delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams for a large organisation having experience in IT Infrastructure & Cloud transformation projects related to any of the following - Platform automation/ Implementation of software-defined data centers (SDDC)/ ICT and facilities Projects/ Network infrastructure and automation/ Cloud connectivity initiatives/Private Cloud deployment.
• Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is preferred
• Proven leadership and project delivery experience in a matrix organisation with global teams for a large organisation.
• Experience in Project Management within the context of a small / medium technology change programme.
• Well-versed in the use of tools of software delivery e.g. MS OFFICE suite, JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Ability to effectively communicate specialist information in an understandable format to all stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations across complex initiatives
