Job Description
FAENA The Red Sea is seeking a proactive and service-oriented IT Coordinator (Saudi National) to join our Information Technology team. This role is responsible for supporting the resort's technology infrastructure, ensuring all systems, networks, hardware, and software operate efficiently to support daily operations. The IT Coordinator will provide technical support to Warriors, maintain system performance, and assist with technology projects while ensuring the highest levels of reliability, security, and user satisfaction across the property.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, telephones, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user support requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Support hotel operating systems, property management systems, communication platforms, and business applications.
- Monitor IT infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations.
- Assist with user account management, password administration, and access permissions.
- Support data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity initiatives.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance and support activities.
- Maintain IT asset inventories, software licenses, and technical documentation.
- Assist with software updates, system upgrades, and technology projects.
- Support meeting room technology, audiovisual equipment, and conferencing systems.
- Monitor network connectivity and escalate issues as required.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, standards, and security procedures.
- Provide basic IT guidance and training to employees when needed.
- Support audits and maintain the confidentiality and security of company systems and information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in IT Support, Help Desk, System Administration, or a similar role.
- Experience within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environments, basic server administration, and network infrastructure.
- Experience with hospitality systems and applications is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and IT support tools.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining data security, confidentiality, and operational reliability.
Requirements
