Job Description
Lead Landscape Architect - Interface Manager (KSA based) - Full Time Deployment
This position requires a Lead Landscape Architect to serve as Interface Manager, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, co-ordination, and communications across all Architecture and Building matters, with particular focus on Historical Wall considerations and external asset conflicts relative to assigned Task Orders.
⢠Manage day-to-day operations, co-ordination, and communications with specialist consultants, asset designers, Project Management Consultants (PMCs), Construction Teams, suppliers, and Client Site Representatives regarding all Architecture and Building matters, issues, and external asset conflicts relative to Task Order assignments
⢠Report directly to the Project and Interface Director (Phase 2A) / Project Director (Phase 2B), whilst maintaining continuous co-ordination with the Interface Manager for Design Guardianship, Senior Project Manager, and Project Planner
⢠Conduct critical data collection and Request for Information (RFI) activities, including follow-up and resolution of information received for Task Order preparation
⢠Develop Task Orders by defining scope, deliverables, and timelines in consultation with the Design team and sub-consultants
⢠Co-ordinate with the Design team and sub-consultants to ensure alignment on scope, timeline, and deliverables, whilst securing technical and commercial inputs
⢠Address Client Review and Submission (CRS) comments to finalise Task Order documentation, including scope, deliverables, and timeline specifications
⢠Attend asset Design co-ordination meetings and workshops to facilitate the co-ordination of design and technical details, and manage interface requirements
⢠Maintain and manage Design Interface Trackers to ensure comprehensive documentation of all interface activities
⢠Prepare asset co-ordination and public realm assessment reports, including recommendations for design optimisation
⢠Review technical deliverables at Schematic Design (SD), Detailed Design (DD), and Tender stages, and prepare corresponding CRS documentation
⢠Respond to queries and RFIs raised by asset consultants and district PMCs, and initiate additional RFIs as required
⢠Facilitate discussion, review, and co-ordination of design changes with asset designers to ensure consistency and compliance
Qualifications
**Required Qualifications:**
⢠Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Landscape Architecture or related Engineering discipline
⢠Professional registration or membership with relevant landscape architecture bodies (e.g., RIBA, IFLA)
⢠Minimum 15 years of experience in landscape architecture and design coordination, with demonstrated progression into senior roles
⢠Extensive experience in client-facing roles and strategic stakeholder management across multiple projects and teams
⢠Proven expertise in landscape design and public realm projects, with a strong portfolio of completed work
⢠Substantial experience managing complex design interfaces and coordinating between multiple consultants, asset designers, and project teams
⢠Advanced proficiency in preparing and managing Request for Information (RFI) and Client Review and Submission (CRS) documentation
⢠Demonstrated expertise in asset coordination, conflict resolution, and interface management in large-scale, complex projects
⢠Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders**Preferred Qualifications:**
⢠Extensive experience working on Middle East (ME) projects or in similar complex regulatory environments
⢠Advanced familiarity with historical asset considerations, heritage conservation requirements, and sensitive site management
⢠Proven experience with design interface tracking systems and digital coordination tools
⢠Track record of successfully managing multiple Task Orders and concurrent projects
