Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interface Manager to join our dynamic team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing complex technical interfaces across multiple projects and stakeholder groups. You will serve as a critical liaison between engineering teams, clients, and third-party vendors, ensuring seamless coordination and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your systems engineering expertise while fostering collaborative relationships, managing consultant and contractor teams, and driving innovative solutions in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

• Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate technical assignments related to interface management across project portfolios
• Develop and maintain comprehensive liaison with engineering teams, business units, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
• Oversee and coordinate multiple consultants, contractors, and third-party vendors to ensure their work aligns with interface management objectives and project requirements
• Apply systems engineering principles and processes throughout the entire project lifecycle, from conception to delivery
• Identify, define, and manage interface requirements while establishing robust processes to track and monitor them
• Develop, implement, and maintain Interface Management plans and processes, ensuring all project teams and external partners operate in accordance with established protocols
• Create and manage interface documentation including matrices, control documents, registers, and responsibility assignments for internal teams and external contractors
• Conduct thorough gap analyses to verify that proposed solutions meet requirements and that appropriate information is exchanged between all parties, including consultant and contractor teams
• Lead and facilitate interface working groups, maintaining detailed records and providing regular status updates to stakeholders
• Utilize systems engineering management tools such as IBM DOORS or similar platforms to document, track, and manage interface data
• Review third-party interface points and develop comprehensive interface control documents and responsibility matrices, ensuring contractor compliance
• Manage external interface and integration requirements, ensuring compatibility and consistency at the system level across all vendor deliverables
• Perform detailed impact analysis for proposed changes to interface agreements and support configuration management and change control processes
• Contribute to hazard logs, safety logs, and risk registers, identifying and mitigating high-risk interface issues involving consultant and contractor activities
• Support senior technical leadership in systems engineering discussions and strategic decisions
• Communicate effectively with diverse audiences, including consultant and contractor teams, translating complex technical information into clear, actionable insights
• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in managing competing priorities, evolving project requirements, and multiple external team engagements

Qualifications

**Minimum Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 12 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering and Interface Management
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Systems Engineering tools such as IBM DOORS or equivalent platforms
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects throughout their complete design and implementation lifecycle
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple consultants, contractors, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment with project objectives
• Strong proficiency in developing and managing interface control documentation and requirements traceability
• Demonstrated expertise in gap analysis, requirements management, and systems integration
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage effectively with diverse stakeholder groups
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable insights
• Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Comprehensive knowledge of and experience implementing IEEE 1220, ISO 15288, ISO 24748, and ISO 29148 standards for systems engineering and requirements management
• INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering) certification
• 15 or more years of professional experience in Systems Engineering and Interface Management
• Professional Engineer (PEng) certification or eligibility to work toward PEng designation
• Extensive experience with configuration management and change control processes
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and hazard analysis methodologies
• Project management software proficiency and experience with Agile or traditional project management methodologies
• Background in safety-critical or highly regulated industries
