Informatica Expert - Resident Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Informatica Expert – Resident Engineer to support a 12-month on-site engagement focused on implementing and operationalizing enterprise Data Governance capabilities.

The consultant will lead the installation, configuration, integration, and operation of Informatica solutions including Informatica Data Catalog, Informatica Data Privacy Management, and Informatica Axon.

The role will be instrumental in establishing a structured Data Governance framework, embedding policies and procedures, activating business glossaries, and ensuring comprehensive visibility and control of enterprise data assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, and optimization of Informatica Data Governance tools.
• Implement and operationalize:
• Data Catalog
• Data Privacy Management (DPM)
• Axon Data Governance
•
• Develop and implement a robust Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI).
• Design and integrate an enterprise Data Governance operating model.
• Activate and manage:
• Business Glossary
• Data Dictionary
•
• Embed data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
• Develop governance workflows and approval processes.
• Establish monitoring dashboards and reporting within the Data Governance platform.
• Ensure seamless integration and connectivity across customer systems.
• Support data classification, protection, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Provide on-site advisory support and stakeholder coordination.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in:
• Data Management
• Data Classification
• Data Protection
• Enterprise Data Governance
•
• Hands-on expertise in:
• Informatica Data Catalog
• Informatica Data Privacy Management
• Informatica Axon
•
• Proven experience designing governance frameworks and operating models.
• Experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (mandatory).

Preferred Skills

• Experience building enterprise-level RACI models.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience creating governance dashboards and reporting KPIs.
• Ability to work independently in a resident/on-site capacity.
