We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electronics Technician responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining electronic systems and industrial control equipment. The role requires strong hands-on experience with electronic circuits, instrumentation, control systems, and industrial electrical/electronic equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electronic equipment and control systems.
- Diagnose faults in electronic circuits, PLC systems, sensors, controllers, transmitters, and related equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic and instrumentation systems.
- Read and interpret electrical/electronic schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Test electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Calibrate and maintain sensors, transmitters, controllers, and other measurement devices.
- Troubleshoot PLC I/O systems, control panels, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and industrial automation equipment.
- Identify faulty components and perform component-level or board-level repairs where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
- Support installation and commissioning of new electronic and control equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable safety procedures, technical standards, and site requirements.
- Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, spare parts, and technical documentation.Requirements
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electronics, Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an Industrial Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician, Instrument Technician, or similar role.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting industrial electronic and control systems.
Good knowledge of electronic components, circuits, sensors, control systems, and instrumentation.
Experience with PLC systems, VFDs, control panels, and industrial automation is preferred.
Ability to read electrical/electronic schematics and technical drawings.
Experience using electronic testing and diagnostic instruments.
Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of industrial safety procedures.
Experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, power generation, or other industrial environments is preferred.
Requirements
