About the Role
We’re looking for an IAM Operations Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to support and run SailPoint-based identity services in a production environment. This role is hands-on and operational, focused on keeping IAM services stable, secure, and running smoothly while continuously improving processes and automation.
Key Responsibilities
• Support day-to-day operations of SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or IdentityNow
• Handle identity lifecycle events (joiners, movers, leavers)
• Monitor provisioning jobs, connectors, and integrations
• Troubleshoot access issues, failed provisioning, and SailPoint errors
• Support access requests, approvals, and certifications
• Work with application teams to onboard and maintain integrations
• Assist with SailPoint upgrades, patches, and changes
• Maintain runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation
• Support audits and compliance activities when needed
• Look for opportunities to improve automation and operational efficiencyRequirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in IAM or security operations
• Hands-on experience with SailPoint (IdentityIQ or IdentityNow)
• Solid understanding of identity lifecycle management
• Experience with access provisioning and governance processes
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD, and cloud apps
• Comfortable working with ITSM tools (ServiceNow or similar)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualifications
• Basic scripting or automation (PowerShell, Java, REST APIs)
• Experience in managed services or production IAM environments
• Exposure to audits or compliance frameworksSailPoint certification or formal training
