HVAC Technician – Saudi National

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Saudi National HVAC Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of HVAC equipment while ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines, industry standards, company procedures, and EH&S requirements.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on HVAC experience, strong technical and troubleshooting skills, good communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow established standard processes and procedures and accurately understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Attend and complete assigned service and maintenance tasks within the required timeframe while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain daily timesheets, job cards, service records, and other required documentation.
• Communicate with customers regarding the nature and progress of work upon arrival and before leaving the site.
• Inform customers of outstanding issues, technical findings, and recommended improvements or corrective actions.
• Complete Job Completion Certificates, Job Cards, EH&S site surveys, and other required reports.
• Inspect HVAC and air-conditioning units to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Estimate required labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment for assigned jobs.
• Prepare inspection and technical reports covering site conditions, scope of work, findings, and recommendations.
• Perform preventive and scheduled maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Repair, replace, adjust, and maintain damaged or defective HVAC components.
• Adjust and maintain internal electrical and electronic control systems.
• Clean coils and blowers and inspect motors, belts, belt tension, and related components.
• Use computers, mobile devices, and relevant applications for service reporting and work-related activities.
• Work independently when required and demonstrate sound judgment in the absence of direct supervision.
• Work closely with colleagues as part of an integrated technical team.
• Identify safety hazards associated with HVAC operations and implement appropriate controls to ensure safe working conditions.
• Identify situations requiring escalation and promptly seek guidance or additional support from the Supervisor or Manager.
• Safely rig and properly set up gantries and lifting arrangements for HVAC equipment, pumps, chillers, and other heavy equipment.
• Manage and organize machinery and tools, including pickup, delivery, usage, and inventory as applicable.
• Recognize and identify potential risks and hazards associated with all work-related activities.
• Attend and actively participate in EH&S and technical training sessions and meetings.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required by management.Qualifications & Experience

• Saudi National.
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant HVAC industry/field experience.
• Valid Saudi driving license is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic computer and mobile application skills.Technical Knowledge & Skills

Candidates should have knowledge of:

• Principles and practices of HVAC equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in accordance with industry practices and manufacturer guidelines.
• EH&S practices and procedures applicable to the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• MSDS/SDS requirements and safe handling practices.
• Proper utilization, care, and management of tools and equipment.
• Preparation and completion of inspection and technical reports.
• Quality management practices in accordance with company standards and applicable quality requirements.
• Basic metal sheet work, electrical systems, carpentry, and Building Automation Controls.
• Identification and management of risks and hazards associated with HVAC operations.
• Safe lifting and rigging practices for HVAC equipment and related machinery.Minimum Product Knowledge

The HVAC Technician is expected to:

• Maintain a strong safety-first approach in all work activities.
• Identify potential hazards and risks before and during work and implement appropriate controls.
• Comply with all company EH&S policies, procedures, and safe working practices.
• Follow manufacturer recommendations, applicable industry standards, and company quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and service documentation.
• Keep customer sites clean, safe, and orderly after completing work.
• Deliver professional workmanship while maintaining high standards of customer service and satisfaction.Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a Saudi National with a Diploma or equivalent qualification in HVAC/Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration and 2–4 years of relevant hands-on experience. The candidate should be technically capable, safety-conscious, reliable, customer-focused, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
