Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HSE Inspector to join our team at our airport facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all airport operations. You will conduct systematic inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel. Your expertise in airport safety standards and regulatory requirements will be critical to protecting our workforce and maintaining operational excellence.
- Conduct comprehensive HSE inspections and audits across airport facilities, including terminal buildings, cargo areas, maintenance hangars, and ground operations zones
- Identify, document, and analyze potential hazards and safety risks in accordance with Saudi Arabia's HSE regulations and international aviation safety standards
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and audit findings with clear documentation of non-conformances and corrective action requirements
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry best practices across all airport operations
- Collaborate with department heads and operational teams to develop and implement safety improvement programs
- Conduct safety training sessions and awareness programs for airport personnel
- Maintain organized records of all inspections, audits, and corrective actions for regulatory review
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented safety measures and recommend continuous improvements
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during compliance reviews and inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of HSE inspection experience in airport operations or aviation-related environments
- Aviation experience is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Arabia's HSE regulations and international aviation safety standards
- Proven expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, and safety management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex safety incidents
- Excellent documentation and technical report writing abilities
- Proficiency in HSE audit procedures and inspection methodologies
- Demonstrated experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Knowledge of airport operations, ground handling, and aviation safety protocols
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse stakeholder groups
- Proficiency in HSE management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Professional certification in HSE (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) is preferred
- Experience with safety management system implementation and auditing is preferred
- Ability to mentor and train operational staff on HSE best practices is preferred
