Host/Hostess - Boutique All Day Dining (Independent Restaurant)

A Boutique All Day Dining venue in Dubai is seeking a polished, confident Hostess to lead the guest arrival experience in a high-energy, quality-driven environment. This position plays a central role in front-of-house operations and directly shapes guest perception from arrival to departure. The successful candidate demonstrates calm authority, strong situational awareness, and a consistent focus on delivering a seamless and welcoming experience during both quiet and peak service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary ambassador for the venue, delivering a professional and welcoming first and last impression
• Take full ownership of the host stand, managing reservations, walk-ins, waitlists, and overall seating flow
• Communicate wait times, availability, and service expectations clearly and confidently
• Work closely with the floor manager and service team to support efficient table management and smooth operations
• Monitor the dining room continuously, anticipating pressure points and adjusting guest flow as needed
• Address guest concerns or dissatisfaction with empathy, discretion, and sound judgment
• Maintain a calm, organised, and approachable presence during high-volume service
• Uphold brand standards, values, and presentation at all times
• Ensure fair, consistent, and professional treatment of all guests, including regulars, first-time visitors, and VIPs
• Contribute positively to front-of-house culture through teamwork, reliability, and attention to detailRequirements

• Previous experience in a host or guest-facing hospitality role preferred
• Fluent English required; Arabic is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident managing busy services and guest expectations
