Head of Agency Securities Lending

Integrated in the Global Securities Financing team, you will be the one person in charge of building a brand new activity of Agency Securities Lending within First Abu Dhabi Bank. Supported by a dedicated and experienced project manager, you will have the responsibility to concretely implement a clearly defined roadmap, take strategic decisions in various areas relevant for the activity like choice of systems, tasks prioritization or commercial initiatives to move from a project to a revenue-generating business. Based in Abu Dhabi, the role requires numerous interactions with vendors as well as internal departments and a regular communication to management on progresses and blocking points.

Key Accountabilities:

 Leads and conducts the construction of a ASL activity within First Abu Dhabi Bank
 Management of the growth and follow up of the onboarding process
 Direct management of interactions with internal stakeholders (sales, legal, credit, risk, compliance, IT, Back Office)
 Direct management of relation with beneficial owners (Central banks and SWFs)
 Full responsibility of Agency lending trading and implementation of strategies
 Full responsibility for quality and reliability of reporting
 Extensive knowledge and access to the Asset Management community
 Strong communication and Presentation skills
 Remain prudent by maintaining highest standards of business ethics and disciplines
 Ability to manage, enrich and enhance relationships internally and externally across the community of Limited Partners and key General Partners

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 10-year experience in the capital markets industry with a strong and proven track record in building and managing an Agency Securities Lending activity
- Having relevant and concrete knowledge in onboarding process
- Autonomous, rigorous, entrepreneur spirit and capability to concretely deliver
