Key Responsibilities
• Deploy and configure VMware HCX in on-prem and OCI environments according to the approved design.
• Install and configure HCX components, including Interconnect, Network Extension, and Service Mesh.
• Establish secure site pairing between on-prem and OCI.
• Configure Layer 2 extensions and validate network connectivity.
• Perform system validation, testing, and optimization post-deployment.
• Troubleshoot deployment, connectivity, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and cloud teams.
• Document configurations, deployment steps, and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
• Extensive hands-on experience in VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
• Advanced networking knowledge (L2/L3, routing, VLANs, firewall policies, VPN, BGP/OSPF).
• Strong expertise in VMware HCX deployment and configuration.
• Experience working with hybrid cloud architectures.
• Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, or similar).
• Experience in enterprise cloud migration projects.
• Knowledge of network security and segmentation (NSX is a plus).Requirements
