Job Description
Role Purpose
Support electrical design delivery across concept through IFC stages for MEP building services projects, as part of Egis's UAE Nationalisation (Emiratisation) programme, with structured mentoring toward independent design responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in LV/MV electrical system design — power distribution, cable sizing, load schedules, SLDs
- Support lighting design and calculations using Dialux Evo under senior guidance
- Assist in fire alarm (FAS), BMS interface, and ELV coordination inputs
- Prepare and update electrical drawings and schedules in AutoCAD/Revit MEP
- Assist with DEWA/Civil Defence submission documentation and authority liaison correspondence
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech Electrical Engineering (UAE national — Emirati)
- Fresh graduate or up to 2 years' relevant experience/internship in MEP or electrical consultancy
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD; exposure to Revit MEP and Dialux Evo preferred
- Basic understanding of DEWA regulations and UAE Fire & Life Safety codes desirable
- Strong analytical and communication skills; eagerness to develop technical competency
