Job Description
Graduates joining the business in a Graduate role and engaging in all elements of the ADVANCE program. The program is designed to introduce and build essential business and personal skills, helping to enhance the transition from student to professional.
Graduates are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field they are joining at Graduate entry level.
The ADVANCE program lasts approx. 24 months but the successful completion of the program is only to be used as an indicator for strong performance in line with other indicators (strong or above performance rating etc.)
Key Responsibilities
⢠Builds analytic and design skills.
⢠Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
⢠Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
⢠Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
⢠Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
⢠Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Qualifications
⢠Bachelorās degree in civil engineering
⢠Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
⢠Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
⢠Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
⢠Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above.
⢠If you hold a Masterās Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelorās Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
⢠Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.
