Job Description
Graduates joining the business in a Graduate role and engaging in all elements of the ADVANCE program. The program is designed to introduce and build essential business and personal skills, helping to enhance the transition from student to professional.
Graduates are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within the field they are joining at Graduate entry level.
The ADVANCE program lasts approx. 24 months but the successful completion of the program is only to be used as an indicator for strong performance in line with other indicators (strong or above performance rating etc.)
Key Responsibilities
⢠Support the preparation of architectural drawings, models, and technical documentation under the guidance of senior team members.
⢠Assist in site reviews, field observations, and coordination to ensure constructed work aligns with design intent and project specifications.
⢠Contribute to design studies, research, material selection, and documentation for planning and construction stages.
⢠Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsāincluding engineering, sustainability, planning, and technical disciplinesāto support coordinated project delivery.
⢠Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and quality checks to support learning and ensure accuracy in deliverables.
⢠Maintain organized documentation, track tasks, and support project workflows in alignment with team processes and deadlines.
Qualifications
⢠Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
⢠Foundational proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and graphic/visualization tools such as Adobe Creative Suite; exposure to BIM workflows is advantageous.
⢠Understanding of architectural principles, building systems, construction materials, and design coordination workflows.
⢠Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
⢠Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage tasks under guidance and contribute to technical accuracy.
⢠Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
⢠A proactive learner with curiosity and enthusiasm for developing both technical and design capabilities.
⢠Candidates must be recent graduates, having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024, to be eligible for AECOM's Graduate Program.
⢠Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above.
⢠If you hold a Masterās Degree, it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelorās Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
⢠Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.
