Job Purpose:
This role be responsible to keep the DP World Forwarding Pricing and Rate Repository tool (NPM) up to date, ensure it runs stable and remains usable for the Business.
This role will also support the OPS Performance and Rate Management lead with continuous improvement activities and adapt the system in face of new requirements or localized needs.
The NPM Systems Operations & Enablement Manager will support DP World Forwarding Organization in all aspects of setting-up, maintaining, using and enhancing DP World´s Rate Repository and Pricing Tool (NPM), align with the NPM Rate Manager and VPs OPS with user trainings, documentations and process re-design. Establish and maintain complete, current and competitive rates in the rate tool.
Key Accountabilities:
• Own day-to-day system operations and monitoring
• Manage incidents, defects, and system performance issues
• Coordinate releases, enhancements, and configuration changes
• Act as bridge between IT, product owners, and business users
• Drive user enablement: training materials, guides, FAQs
• Schedules and conduct regular update trainings with Super users in Freight Forwarding
• Aligns with the Operational Excellence teams on System documentation
• Support onboarding of new countries, products, or users
• Ensures a table system uptime and incident resolution
• Is responsible for releasing notes and change communications
• Aligns and manages trainings and rollouts of NPM rate Management toolQualifications, Experience and Skills:
• Minimum of 10 years work experience in Logistics Freight Forwarding, in-depth knowledge of the logistics industry and its value drivers
• Professional degree in freight forwarding would be an asset
• Familiar with operational procedures and price setting in Freight Forwarding in particular
• Support and guide teams at all levels
• Excellent interpersonal skills and capable to navigate senior corporate structures
• Capable to deliver results with short notice
• Open minded towards new developments/ innovations
• Strong analytical capabilities (root cause analysis)
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Open to fully adapt towards a digital working environment
• Good oral and written English as the principal language for DP World
• Additional key languages would be considered an asset
• Strong PC skills (Window, MS-Office applications) preferred#LI-DS2
Requirements
- •Minimum of 10 years work experience in Logistics Freight Forwarding.
- •In-depth knowledge of the logistics industry and its value drivers.
- •Familiar with operational procedures and price setting in Freight Forwarding.
- •Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to navigate senior corporate structures.
- •Strong analytical capabilities (root cause analysis).
- •Good written and oral communication skills.
- •Strong PC skills (Window, MS-Office applications) preferred.
