General Technician

Job Purpose

The General Technician is responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repair, and support work across electrical, mechanical, and general facility systems to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work for electrical, mechanical, and civil issues.
• Carry out basic electrical works such as wiring, lighting, sockets, and panel checks.
• Assist in diesel generator operation, routine checks, and minor maintenance (if applicable).
• Conduct preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Identify faults and report major issues to the supervisor.
• Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards at the work site.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures at all times. Requirements

Qualifications

• ITI / Diploma or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance work.

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a General Technician or similar role.
• Experience in industrial, commercial, or residential maintenance is an advantage.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia / GCC is preferred but not mandatory.
