General Manager - The St. Regis Dubai The Palm

The General Manager serves as the strategic and operational leader of The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial performance, fostering a high-performance culture, and upholding the iconic St. Regis brand standards.

This role requires an accomplished luxury hospitality leader with extensive operational expertise, a passion for personalized service, and a demonstrated ability to lead complex luxury hotel environments. The General Manager will oversee all aspects of hotel operations while ensuring excellence in guest satisfaction, associate engagement, owner relations, and financial results.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a General Manager within a luxury hotel environment.

• Progressive hospitality leadership experience, including significant operational leadership responsibility.

• Proven experience within internationally recognized luxury hospitality brands

• Strong background in hotel operations, with prior leadership experience overseeing Rooms Division, Food & Beverage, or Resort Operations.

• Demonstrated success managing luxury hotels with complex operations and significant revenue streams.

• Experience working in the Middle East and/or international luxury markets preferred.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

• Provide overall leadership and direction for all hotel operations.

• Develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, market share, and brand positioning.

• Partner with ownership and regional leadership to achieve short- and long-term business objectives.

• Ensure the hotel maintains its reputation as one of Dubai's premier luxury destinations.

Operations Excellence

• Lead all operational departments, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Engineering, Security, and Guest Services.

• Ensure flawless execution of St. Regis luxury service standards and brand expectations.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on guest satisfaction, quality, efficiency, and profitability.

• Maintain the highest levels of operational excellence, safety, compliance, and risk management.

Guest Experience

• Champion a culture of exceptional, personalized service and anticipatory guest care.

• Build strong relationships with VIP guests, luxury travel advisors, key accounts, and community stakeholders.

• Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction metrics, implementing action plans to ensure superior service delivery.

Financial Management

• Deliver budgeted revenues, GOP, EBITDA, and other key financial targets.

• Maximize hotel profitability through effective revenue management, cost controls, and operational efficiencies.

• Analyze market trends, competitive intelligence, and business performance to identify opportunities for growth.

Talent Leadership

• Attract, develop, and retain top hospitality talent.

• Foster an inclusive, engaged, and high-performance culture.

• Provide coaching and mentorship to the executive leadership team and department heads.

• Drive associate engagement and talent succession planning initiatives.

Stakeholder Management

• Maintain strong relationships with ownership, corporate leadership, and key business partners.

• Represent the hotel within the local community and luxury hospitality industry.

• Ensure transparent communication and effective governance practices.
