GenAI Solution Architect

The GenAI Solution Architect is a high-impact leadership role responsible for the design, orchestration, and scaling of ADCB’s Artificial Intelligence ecosystem. You will serve as the master designer for intelligent customer and employee journeys, bridging the gap between ambitious product visions and robust, enterprise-grade technology. This role focuses on the structural integration of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic workflows, and RAG pipelines into the Bank's broader digital value streams. You are not just designing models; you are architecting secure, compliant, and highly scalable systems that redefine how the Bank operates in a digital-first world.

As the GenAI Solution Architect, your responsibilities include:

• Architecting end-to-end solutions for Conversational AI, LLM-based agents, and enterprise knowledge platforms (RAG) that align with the Bank's strategic roadmap.
• Evaluating and selecting the optimal stack (e.g., Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Vector Databases) while promoting the reuse of APIs and microservices to minimize technical debt.
• Guiding and coaching tech leads and engineering squads across AI architecture principles, ensuring high-quality technical builds in a scaled agile model.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive solution architecture documentation to support platform-level governance and regulatory compliance.
• Acting as the primary technical voice to internal stakeholders, translating complex AI capabilities into clear business value propositions and product requirements.
• Leading the rapid prototyping of emerging capabilities like multimodal AI and agentic systems, balancing speed-to-market with enterprise security.
• Supporting, Coaching and Mentoring more junior members of the team, when required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we need you to have:

• 6+ years experience in technology architecture, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated specifically to AI/ML solution design.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or Software Engineering. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• Be Azure or AWS Solution Architect certified.
• Previous experience in banking or financial services.
• Deep expertise in architecting RAG pipelines, embeddings, and vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS).
• Advanced knowledge of Azure and AWS ecosystems, specifically for AI/ML deployments and serverless architectures.
• Proven ability to define backlog items (Epics/Features) and mentor engineering teams in a Scaled Agile framework.
• Strong grasp of microservices, API design patterns, and enterprise data products.
• A firm commitment to ethical AI principles, explainability, and governance within a highly regulated environment.It would be beneficial if you also had:

• A proven ability to anticipate the evolution of agentic systems and assess their long-term applicability to banking.
• Be skilled in articulating the ROI of AI solutions to non-technical senior leadership.
• Experience in proactively identifying architectural risks, from data privacy leaks to model performance bottlenecks.
• Experience in actively engaging with the global AI community to stay ahead of trends like PEFT (Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning) or RLHF.Benefits
