As an Gear Box Field Specialist, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and/or inspection operations at our customers' sites around the world.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Communicating with the customer to determine their needs and performing inspections or repairs.

• Performing mechanical activities on site, either alone or with the customer's employees.

• Inspecting gears and auxiliary components (pumps, couplings, etc.).

• Replacing parts in LUFKIN Gears or competitor gearboxes, as well as bearings or bushings.

• Reconditioning LUFKIN gearboxes or those of our competitors.

• Resolve malfunctions or emergencies as needed

• Perform vibration checks

• Supervising repairs and technical improvements

• Supervising and direct on-site teams (e.g., client subcontractors)

• Preparing post-intervention reports

Fuel your passion

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Field with 2 to 6 years experience Rotating equipment or Turbines or Gear box from Oil and Gas Domain.

• Should be Open to work in Baker Hughes plant in Dammam, travel involved in certain parts of Saudi Arabia.

• Be rigorous, organized, and methodical.

• Be autonomous and able to take initiative.

• Be bilingual (Arabic/English).

• Be able to travel worldwide 80% of the time.

• Be able to work in difficult conditions (climate, dust) and occasionally work overtime.
