We are looking for a welcoming, energetic, and detail-oriented Front Office/Shift Leader to be the first point of contact and the face of the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel). This is a pivotal role for individuals passionate about creating exceptional, personalized experiences and launching a successful career in luxury hospitality. Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Front Office/Shift Leader for the efficient operations of reception including check-in and check-out procedures
- Supporting team members in handling guest requests and enquiries to ensure a positive outcome is achieved
- Ensuring that both the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and/or other departments
- Demonstrating a high level of customer service at all times
- Advising the team of any special events or VIP guests in the hotel
- Understanding thoroughly all hotel room categories, room rates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledge necessary to perform daily duties
- Monitoring the appearance, standards and performance of the Front Office Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork
- Maximizing room occupancy and using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
- Ensuring Team Members have current knowledge of all room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, local area and other general product knowledge necessary to perform their duties
- Demonstrating positive leadership characteristics that inspire Team Members to exceed standards
- Acting in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front office equipment and property management systems
- Following and adhering to company brand standards
- Assisting other departments wherever necessary and maintaining good working relationships with Team Members
- Working with your Manager to identify a specific project to complete during your internship placementWhat we need from you:
- Previous experience in a 5-star luxury hotel
- Desire to progress within the hospitality industry
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competent level of IT proficiency
- Must speak fluent English

Requirements
