Key Responsibilities
Licensing, Qualifications & Compliance
⢠Maintain all required licenses, ratings, instructor approvals, and medical certification (as applicable).
⢠Ensure any Authorityāissued approvals are valid prior to delivering training requiring those privileges.
⢠Adhere to CAE/ECFT policies, procedures, safety standards, and authorityāapproved training program requirements.
Briefing & Debriefing
⢠Deliver comprehensive simulator briefings and training sessions in a clear, structured, and positive manner.
⢠Document any deviations from SOPs, procedures, or maneuver standards, and address them during debriefings.
Training Delivery
⢠Review client Training and Checking Authorization before any session.
⢠Deliver simulator instruction on Global XRS/Vision/6500 aircraft (or other assigned types), with sessions typically requiring four or more hours in the simulator.
⢠Conduct thorough preā and postāflight briefings with professionalism and clarity.
⢠Support curriculum and training device development, including simulator, FTD, and FMS trainer evaluations.
⢠Obtain FAA/EASA ground school and simulator instructor credentials within approximately 12 months if assigned to ground school duties.
⢠Acquire and maintain examiner qualifications to perform checking duties when nominated.
⢠Provide seat support and other instructional support as required.
⢠Maintain accurate and complete training records; recommend remedial training when needed.
⢠Prepare and inspect classrooms, instructional equipment, and training materials prior to use.
⢠Assess trainee readiness and recommend candidates for licensing checks.
⢠Act as a subject matter expert for Global XRS/Vision/6500 curriculum and courseware updates when assigned.
⢠Deliver MCC instruction related to multiāpilot operations and SPHPCA training based on instructor certification.
Requirements
⢠Valid ATPL or CPL with ATPL from a recognized aviation authority.(FAA/GACA/EASA)
⢠Minimum 6000 hours total flight time on multiāengine, multiāpilot aircraft.
⢠Strong fundamental knowledge of aircraft systems, flight operations, CRM, and SOPādriven performance.
⢠Previous instructional or checking experience is an advantage, but not mandatory.
⢠Excellent interpersonal communication and ability to deliver clear, structured instruction.
⢠Strong focus on safety, compliance, and high training standards.
⢠Willingness to work flexible hours in line with training demand.
