Financial Statement Reporting

Master Works is seeking a Financial Reporting Specialist / Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

Financial Statement Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Prepare Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank accounts
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards and company policies
• Assist in financial analysis and reporting to management
• Coordinate with other departments for financial data collection
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities when required
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus
• 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial reporting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or GAAP
• Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and coordination skills
