Job Description
This is a 9 months temporary position with a possibility to become perm after the assignment.
In this role you will be part of a Field Service team providing a prompt and effective service to customers within the Water, Power, Petrochemical oil & gas and other associated Industries.
In this role you will identify faults, repair, test and modify actuators in the field, carry out planned and preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical installations of actuators and associated retrofit adaption of components, pedestals and drive shafts and completing accurate and technical site visit reports for each job.
This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who can think logically for troubleshooting issues and has the willingness to travel.
Qualifications
• Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience post study in a practical engineering environment, preferably in a field-based role.
• Proficient Microsoft Office user i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel
• Required to attend training courses to attain however not limited to Confined Space, Working at Heights, and First Aid Competence. There will also be a requirement to carry out customer inductions, medicals and inoculations.
• Able and willing to meet an extensive travel commitment. A full valid driver’s license is required.
• Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators and digital control systems
• Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical and fluid power theories
• Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools
Person specification
• Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of actuators and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with HSE practices in Industrial environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time, with the ability to travel to different regions of Saudi Arabia at short notice.
