Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Executive Chef.

As the Executive Chef, you will provide strategic culinary leadership across Raffles & Fairmont Doha, shaping a exceptional culinary vision aligned with the standards and distinctive positioning of both brands. You will lead the culinary operation with a strong focus on innovation, exceptional guest experiences, commercial performance, quality, sustainability, and operational excellence.

You will inspire and develop high-performing culinary teams, drive new concepts and gastronomic experiences, and ensure uncompromising standards across all dining outlets and events. Working closely with the executive leadership and wider hotel teams, you will elevate the culinary identity of the property, strengthen its market position, and continuously redefine luxury through exceptional food, creativity, and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall culinary strategy and daily operations across Raffles & Fairmont Doha, aligning culinary excellence with luxury brand standards and business objectives
• Oversee all culinary outlets, banquets, in-room dining, and special events, ensuring seamless execution, consistency, and exceptional guest experiences
• Develop and implement innovative culinary concepts, menus, and experiences that elevate the property’s market positioning and drive commercial performance
• Drive operational efficiency through strategic planning, kitchen organisation, productivity management, cost control, and effective resource allocation
• Establish and maintain uncompromising standards for food quality, presentation, consistency, hygiene, food safety, and culinary execution
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing culinary brigade, fostering accountability, creativity, succession planning, and continuous professional growth
• Manage food cost, labour productivity, purchasing, inventory, and waste reduction to maximise profitability while protecting quality and luxury standards
• Partner with Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and other key departments to align culinary strategy with wider business priorities
• Monitor guest feedback, culinary trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for innovation, revenue growth, and continuous improvement
• Champion sustainability across sourcing, production, waste management, and kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality
• Ensure full compliance with brand standards, local regulations, food safety requirements, and internal operating procedures
• Contribute to strategic business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term culinary growth as a key member of the executive leadership team

Qualifications

What will you bring to this role?

• Extensive senior-level culinary leadership experience within luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end hospitality environments
• Strong track record of leading complex culinary operations across multiple outlets, banqueting, events, and high-volume service environments
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic culinary concepts while maintaining operational excellence and commercial performance
• Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, food cost, labour productivity, purchasing, and inventory control
• Strong knowledge of luxury culinary standards, food safety, hygiene, quality assurance, and operational compliance
• Demonstrated success in leading, developing, and mentoring diverse, high-performing culinary teams
• Creative and commercially minded approach to menu development, culinary innovation, guest experience, and revenue generation
• Strong understanding of current culinary trends, sustainable practices, and evolving luxury guest expectations
• Excellent communication, collaboration, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, multicultural, and fast-paced hospitality environment
• Relevant professional culinary qualification or equivalent combination of education, training, and demonstrated experience
