Job Summary:
The Executive Assistant to the President provides high-level administrative support to the President, ensuring efficient operation of the executive office. This role requires professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle sensitive information. The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILTY & AUTHORITY:
- Manage and maintain the executive calendar, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the executive, internal staff, and external stakeholders.
- Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Screen and prioritize incoming communications, calls, and requests; respond or direct as appropriate.
- Organize and maintain confidential files and records.
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the President.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the executive team and across departments.
- Represent the President’s office in a professional and courteous manner.
- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support the efficient functioning of the President’s office.
BEHAVIORAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES & REQUIRED:
- Exceptional organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting C-suite executives, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
