Event Manager

Passionate about sustainability, climate change and live events, then this is the role for you. You will be taking the lead on one of the industry’s leading events, The World Future Energy Summit, which is held in partnership with Masdar one of the world’s largest renewable energy companies.

About the Role

As anEvent Manager, you will support the Event Director in the planning, delivery, and growth of theWorld Future Energy Summit, a leading global event held in partnership with Masdar. You will be responsible for event planning, stakeholder engagement, governance, reporting, and risk management to ensure successful delivery against strategic objectives and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Event Director in delivering the event strategy and operational plan.

• Develop and maintain event dashboards, reports, and executive presentations.

• Lead project planning, tracking, and coordination across key event workstreams.

• Manage relationships with government entities, partners, and key stakeholders.

• Coordinate event licensing, permits, and compliance requirements.

• Identify and mitigate project and event risks, escalating issues where required.

• Manage event meetings, action logs, timelines, and stakeholder communications.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with event objectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event management, exhibitions, or large-scale conferences.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field preferred.

• Experience working with government entities and senior stakeholders.

• Strong project planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Experience creating dashboards, reports, and executive-level presentations.

• Commercially aware with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Arabic language skills are an advantage.
