Job Description

• Ensure all construction materials comply with RTA specifications, approved material lists, and project contract requirements; review and approve material submittals, source approvals, mix designs, and compliance certificates.
• Coordinate and witness RTA-mandated laboratory and field testing for concrete, asphalt, soil, aggregates, steel, and other materials; verify compliance with approved designs and specifications.
• Liaise with RTA-approved laboratories, third-party testing agencies, and authority representatives during inspections and audits; ensure proper sampling, testing frequency, and test reporting per RTA Quality Control Manuals and project ITPs.
• Monitor material storage, handling, and traceability on site to prevent contamination, deterioration, or misuse; track material approvals and testing status to avoid schedule impacts.
• Support the Resident Engineer in material-related NCRs, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in RTA inspections, audits, and compliance reviews; verify material records, test reports, and certificates for as-built and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with planning and construction teams to ensure timely availability of approved materials in line with project schedules.
• Provide technical advice to site supervision staff on RTA material standards and acceptance criteria; assist in preparation of final quality dossiers and material compliance reports for project close-out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in civil engineering with 8 -12 years of experience in RTA or DM projects.
• Master's preferable but not mandatory.

Additional Information

Minimum 3-5 years' mandatory experience in Dubai with RTA approval or DM approval.
