Job Description
We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support the investigation, analysis, and design of ground-related aspects for infrastructure and construction projects. The role involves assessing subsurface conditions, providing geotechnical recommendations, and ensuring safe and efficient design solutions in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Conduct geotechnical investigations, including site assessments, soil sampling, and interpretation of ground conditions.
⢠Analyze geotechnical data and prepare reports with design recommendations.
⢠Support foundation design, slope stability analysis, and ground improvement solutions.
⢠Coordinate with structural, civil, and project teams to ensure integration of geotechnical inputs.
⢠Review geotechnical reports, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
⢠Monitor site activities related to geotechnical works and provide technical support during construction.
⢠Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations.
⢠Assist in identifying risks related to ground conditions and propose mitigation measures.Key Requirements
⢠Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or a related discipline.
⢠Understanding of soil mechanics, foundation design, and geotechnical analysis.
⢠Experience with geotechnical software and reporting tools is an advantage.
⢠Rail project experience is preferred.
⢠Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
Bachelorās degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field.
