Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engagement Manager / Stream Lead to drive strategic transformation initiatives within the banking and financial services sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong consulting background, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and proven experience leading complex workstreams across strategy, business transformation, analytics, and commercial optimization programs.
This role requires a highly analytical and client-facing professional capable of engaging with senior executives, managing cross-functional teams, and delivering measurable business outcomes. The position is focused on strategic advisory and transformation rather than traditional IT implementation or operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage strategic workstreams within large-scale banking transformation programs.
- Drive business strategy, operating model transformation, performance improvement, and commercial optimization initiatives.
- Develop executive-level presentations, business cases, strategic recommendations, and transformation roadmaps.
- Engage with senior client stakeholders, including C-suite executives and business leaders, to align objectives and drive decision-making.
- Structure and oversee complex analyses, ensuring data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and outcomes.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities across workstreams and proactively manage stakeholder expectations.
- Support business development activities, proposal development, and client relationship management.
- Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and executive governance forums.
- Mentor junior consultants and team members while promoting best practices in project delivery.Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 7–12 years of professional experience in management consulting, banking transformation, corporate strategy, or related fields.
- Proven experience leading complex strategic initiatives and workstreams.
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive strategic decision-making.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders in fast-paced and complex environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Banking or Financial Services industry experience.
- Experience with leading consulting firms or strategy consulting practices.
- Exposure to banking transformation, operating model redesign, growth strategy, customer strategy, digital transformation, or commercial optimization initiatives.
- MBA or advanced degree from a reputable institution.
- Experience working with executive committees and board-level stakeholders.
- Riyadh-based candidates are strongly preferred.
- Arabic and English language proficiency is preferred for client-facing engagements.
