Talentspoc is inviting applications for the position of Endoscopy Technician in Bahrain. As a key member of our medical team, you will provide essential support during endoscopic procedures, ensuring that the necessary equipment and instruments are prepared, sterilized, and functioning correctly. Your role is critical in maintaining the safety and comfort of our patients undergoing these procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and supplies, ensuring all instruments are sterile and ready for use prior to procedures.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures with the setup and navigation of endoscope systems.
• Monitor patient comfort and vital signs during procedures, reporting any concerns to the medical team.
• Handle role-specific tasks in accordance with safety protocols and best practices in infection control.
• Participate in the maintenance of endoscopy suites, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
• Document and maintain accurate records of procedures, equipment usage, and inventory.
• Educate patients regarding pre-operative instructions and post-procedure care.
• Stay updated on advancements in endoscopy technology and best practices in the field. Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Certification as an Endoscopy Technician or relevant equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in endoscopy or surgical assistance roles.
• Knowledge of endoscopy procedures, equipment, and sterilization techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to patient safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements
