We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide timely, high-quality medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. The physician will be responsible for rapid assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, treatment, and appropriate disposition of emergency patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department with a wide range of acute medical and surgical conditions.
- Perform timely medical assessments, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Initiate appropriate emergency treatment and stabilization for critically ill or injured patients.
- Order and interpret laboratory investigations, imaging, ECGs, and other diagnostic tests.
- Manage medical emergencies, trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory emergencies, and other acute conditions.
- Perform or assist with emergency procedures as clinically indicated.
- Coordinate patient care with specialists, nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals.
- Determine appropriate patient disposition, including discharge, admission, transfer, or referral.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and clinical documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
- Participate in emergency department quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance activities.
- Follow hospital policies, clinical guidelines, infection-control standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in shift-based Emergency Department coverage, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Medical degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license/registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Emergency Medicine or equivalent.
- Relevant clinical experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- ATLS certification is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and emergency management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Commitment to patient safety, professional ethics, and high-quality clinical care.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Requirements
