Job Description

This opportunity is part of AECOM’s Fursa Program and open exclusively to UAE Nationals holding a

valid family book.

We are seeking a Site Supervision Electrical Engineer to oversee and monitor all on-site electrical works for a large mixed use / residential development project. The role will ensure that power, lighting, ELV, and associated electrical systems are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, local authority regulations, and project timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect electrical installations including power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and ELV systems (CCTV, access control, structured cabling, fire alarm).
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Monitor contractor progress, workmanship, and quality compliance.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and architectural teams to resolve site interface issues.
• Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Attend progress meetings and prepare inspection and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and local authority regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years’ experience in site supervision of residential buildings / villa developments.
• Strong knowledge of LV systems, lighting design implementation, and ELV coordination.
• Familiarity with local authority approvals and utility authority requirements.
• Strong coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
