About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Door Attendant to join the Concierge department in Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
⢠Greet all guests entering and leaving the hotel entrance, using appropriate salutations to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
⢠Open the car door for all guests arriving or leaving from the main entrance, greeting them with a warm smile and welcoming them on arrival and departure.
⢠Coordinate with bell attendants to ensure luggage and parcels are removed from vehicles of arriving guests and arrange for their delivery to guest rooms.
⢠Handle the safe storage of luggage in the storeroom, ensuring it is always kept clean and tidy.
⢠Hail taxis for guests using the designated taxi company, open taxi doors, and help guests to be seated, providing appropriate assistance as required.
⢠Receive incoming packages, letters, and documents for guests, record their acceptance, and arrange timely delivery to the recipients.
⢠Identify and assist with security matters as the first point of contact for guests checking in, ensuring any security risks are minimized.
⢠Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by management, ensuring all responsibilities are handled efficiently.
⢠Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
⢠High School Diploma
⢠1 to 2 years of relevant experience within hospitality
⢠Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking
⢠Ability to work flexible hours
⢠Strong customer service orientation
⢠Team Player with accuracy and attention to detail
⢠Demonstrates excellent grooming standards
⢠Reliable, Honest and Sincere showing high level of energy
⢠Strong communication and interpersonal skills
⢠Proficiency in English
⢠Knowledge of additional language
