Key Accountabilities
- Plan and develop roadmaps/action plans to support current and future procurement needs.
- Responsible for analyzing vendor performance and company spend trends to create a sourcing strategy for the categories of spend being managed by the team.
- Prepare and present EITC’s sourcing strategies accurately and effectively to facilitate achieving objectives through various arrangements with suppliers
- Present weekly update reports to management on department activities and performance against KPI’s
- Day to day management of the Operations & Quality control team to ensure that the department goals, objectives, and KPIs are met.
- Ensure that the database of Emirati SME companies is up to date and that potential vendors get pre-selected in order to increase the business volume with SME’s as per the company’s commitment to the Dubai Economic Department.
- In collaboration with the Finance and respective departments develop and finalize the annual Sourcing plan for the various BUs and Support Units to forecast our purchasing requirement for a year.
- Ensure that the organization is achieving its revenue and profit commitments in sourcing and procuring goods and services by developing and monitoring the yearly Major Sourcing planned savings.
- Provide procurement and contract management advice, complaints analysis and dispute resolution services to requesters.
- Ensure that company’s procurement policies and procedures are being followed throughout the organization. Report violations to Management and Audit committee
- Develop and implement effective procurement and contract management processes and procedures, and provide leadership for strategic projects particularly in relation to major sourcing strategies.
- Approve documents in ERP in a timely manner in order to ensure operational efficiency: PID’s; TER’s; SSD’s; SER’s; PO’s
- Support implementation of any new ERP system enhancement and ensure that adequate training gets provided to the team.
- Communicate policies and procedures for the department along with all the required standard forms and documents, ensuring enforcement and updates.Qualifications, Experience And Skills:
- Minimum Bachelor degree
- 10-15 years in a similar function preferably within the telecommunications industry
- In-depth Knowledge of key commercial elements and pricing structures of suppliers contracts
- High level Technical knowledge of non-telecom goods and services
- Knowledge of contract laws, and a complete understanding of Corporate T’s & C’s
- Familiarity with key telecom services and equipment
- Strong exposure to data analysis.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Planning and strategic thinking, Leadership Skills
- Excellent verbal & written English & preferably Arabic.
- Good Knowledge of ERP system (Oracle)
Requirements
