Director, Enablement & Innovation

The Director, Enablement & Innovation serves as the transformation leader for the Internal Audit function, driving the modernization of audit capabilities through data analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, and digital technologies. The role is accountable for defining and executing a multi-year transformation strategy, scaling innovation initiatives, enhancing audit effectiveness, and leading enterprise-wide adoption of technology-enabled assurance solutions.

ROLE PROFILE
• Lead the digitalization of the end-to-end audit lifecycle, including planning, fieldwork, testing, reporting, and stakeholder notifications.
• Expand data-driven assurance capabilities by scaling analytics models, predictive insights, anomaly detection, and risk intelligence solutions.
• Prioritize, implement, and govern AI, agentic AI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives across the Internal Audit function.
• Lead and develop a high-performing enablement team while driving capability building, training, and technology adoption across the audit function.
• Own and optimize the Audit Management System, including technology roadmap development, integrations, enhancements, and vendor management.
• Develop and execute Internal Audit's 3 to 5-year transformation and innovation strategy aligned with business objectives
• Partner with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to monitor transformation outcomes, measure value realization, and report progress to Audit and Risk leadership forums.
REQUIREMENTS

• 15+ years of professional experience with the seniority and leadership capability to operate at Director level.
• Proven track record leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs involving data analytics, AI, automation, digital technologies, or innovation initiatives.
• Strong strategic technology leadership with the ability to translate vision into roadmaps, governance frameworks, and measurable business outcomes.
• Experience managing portfolios of transformation initiatives and balancing business value, risk, governance, resources, and adoption considerations.
• Demonstrated success leading teams, influencing executives, and driving organization-wide change initiatives.
• Expertise in data, AI, automation, digital transformation, or technology enablement functions; audit experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
