About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director - Design to join Jumeirah Group & Corporate. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead the strategic design vision for Jumeirah, ensuring alignment with brand values, business objectives, and long-term portfolio strategy.
• Oversee the creative process from concept to completion, driving innovation and maintaining consistently high design standards.
• Act as brand guardian, owning design development approvals and ensuring consistency across all global projects.
• Lead and guide design teams, consultants, and partners through design reviews, approvals, and key delivery milestones.
• Balance design quality with commercial objectives through value engineering, budget control, and informed decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, sustainability principles, and internal standards across all design initiatives.About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Proven experience (8-10 years) in a design role within the luxury hospitality sector.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as architecture or interior design is required.
• Proven leadership experience managing senior design teams and external consultants.
• Strong understanding of brand-led design, guest experience, and space planning for hotels and branded residences.
