Responsibilities
• Develop and execute commercial strategies for vertical links infrastructure projects to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial team, promoting a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee the procurement process, including the development of tender documentation, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Administer contracts ensuring compliance with legal and project requirements, managing claims, variations, and change orders effectively.
• Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures while preparing reports and forecasts.
• Collaborate with project teams during design and construction phases to ensure cost-effective approaches and risk management.
• Provide commercial input for strategic plans and contribute to decision-making processes at the executive level.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, operational guidelines, and best practices in commercial management.Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications is preferred.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in commercial management, particularly within the transport or infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully leading commercial initiatives on large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and negotiation strategies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and strategies.
• Exceptional leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of standard contract forms (e.g., FIDIC) and relevant legislation.
• Experience in the Middle East / KSA market is highly desirable.
