- The Proxy Product Owner partners with the Product Owner and Agile squad to translate product strategy and business requirements into working digital solutions and customer journeys.
- Define functional specifications, workflows, use cases, interfaces, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Gather and translate business requirements into clear, actionable software requirements.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in line with the product roadmap.
- Ensure committed backlog items are completed within each sprint.
- Use technical expertise to actively contribute to sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and demos.
- Identify technology opportunities that support business goals.
- Acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, the PPO ensures seamless execution of digital initiatives.
- Drives squad execution and ensures progress against product roadmap commitments.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, UX, Governance, Compliance, and other stakeholders.
- Support testing, release readiness, and implementation activities.Qualifications and Skills
- 7+ years of experience in digital product, technical project delivery, business analysis, or software delivery.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with requirements gathering, user stories, backlog management, and Azure DevOps.
- Technical experience in development or testing is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Collaborative, delivery-focused, and proactive, with a strong “can-do” attitude.
Requirements
- •7+ years of experience in digital product, technical project delivery, business analysis, or software delivery
- •Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies
- •Experience with requirements gathering, user stories, and backlog management
- •Experience with Azure DevOps
- •Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- •Collaborative and delivery-focused attitude
