We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Dermatologist / Dermatology Specialist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in clinical dermatology, diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, nail, and scalp disorders, with a patient-centered approach and commitment to providing high-quality dermatological care.
The successful candidate will work closely with aesthetic physicians, plastic surgeons, allergists, pathologists, pediatricians, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive dermatology consultations and detailed skin examinations.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of medical and clinical dermatological conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, medical history, and diagnostic findings.
• Manage common dermatological conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, urticaria, fungal infections, and bacterial skin infections.
• Assess and treat patients with pigmentation disorders, skin allergies, inflammatory skin conditions, and autoimmune dermatological disorders.
• Diagnose and manage hair and scalp conditions, including hair loss and common scalp disorders.
• Evaluate and manage nail disorders and infections.
• Perform appropriate dermatological procedures within the physician's training, competence, and approved clinical scope.
• Perform skin biopsies and other diagnostic procedures where appropriately trained.
• Use dermoscopy and other diagnostic techniques to assess suspicious skin lesions.
• Assess and manage benign skin lesions and refer suspicious lesions for appropriate further investigation or treatment.
• Provide appropriate treatment for scars, pigmentation, acne-related skin changes, and other dermatological concerns.
• Review and interpret relevant laboratory investigations, pathology reports, and imaging where required.
• Provide patient education regarding skincare, sun protection, disease prevention, treatment adherence, and lifestyle measures.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, potential side effects, and follow-up requirements.
• Coordinate care with plastic surgeons, oncologists, allergists, pediatricians, and other specialists for complex cases.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and confidential medical records.
• Maintain high standards of infection control and patient safety.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, teaching, and continuing professional development.
MBBS, MD, or equivalent recognized medical qualification.
Recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology / Dermatovenereology or an equivalent specialty.
Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
Strong experience in clinical and medical dermatology.
Good knowledge of diagnosis and management of skin, hair, scalp, and nail disorders.
Strong clinical examination and diagnostic skills.
Experience with common dermatological procedures and diagnostic techniques.
Excellent communication and patient-management skills.
Patient-focused approach with strong attention to clinical detail.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements
- •MBBS, MD, or equivalent recognized medical qualification
- •Recognized postgraduate qualification in Dermatology / Dermatovenereology or equivalent specialty
- •Relevant post-specialization clinical experience
- •Strong experience in clinical and medical dermatology
- •Good knowledge of diagnosis and management of skin, hair, scalp, and nail disorders
- •Strong clinical examination and diagnostic skills
- •Experience with common dermatological procedures and diagnostic techniques
Responsibilities
