JASARA PMC is currently inviting expressions of interest for the position of Deputy Project Director (EOI). In this critical role, you will support the Project Director in overseeing and managing rail infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Your expertise will play a vital part in ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with the strategic goals of JASARA PMC. This position requires a proactive approach to managing project schedules, resources, risks, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of rail projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Support the Project Director in managing project scope, schedule, and resources.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to facilitate project progress.
• Foster relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities to ensure alignment and support for project objectives.
• Monitor project risks and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present regular project reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• At least 25 years of experience in project management, specifically in rail or transportation infrastructure projects for 15 years.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting large-scale transportation projects from inception to completion.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading and motivating teams.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the rail sector.
• Experience working in the Middle East, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is preferred.Benefits
