Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
• Assisting the Pastry Chef de Partie in managing daily pastry and bakery operations.
• Preparing and producing desserts, pastries, cakes, breads, and bakery items according to recipes and standards.
• Ensuring proper mise en place and smooth service for à la carte, buffet, and banquet operations.
• Supervising and guiding Pastry Commis Chefs during daily production.
• Maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Ensuring strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Monitoring portion control, minimizing wastage, and supporting cost control.
• Assisting with stock control, requisitions, labeling, and FIFO practices.
• Coordinating with other kitchen sections to ensure timely service.
• Supporting creative input for dessert presentations and menu development.
What we need from you:
• Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry or Senior Pastry Commis, preferably in a hotel or high-volume kitchen.
• Strong foundation in pastry, bakery, and dessert production.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented kitchen environment.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic language will be an advantage.
• Strong teamwork, discipline, and eagerness to grow.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Culinary or pastry qualifications will be an advantage.

- •Proven experience as Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry or Senior Pastry Commis
- •Experience in a hotel or high-volume kitchen preferred
- •Strong foundation in pastry, bakery, and dessert production
- •Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- •Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented kitchen environment
- •Good communication skills in English
- •Strong teamwork, discipline, and eagerness to grow
