Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:

Supervise day-to-day operations in the furniture department, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.

Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse space while maintaining inventory accuracy.

Supply Chain Systems:

Utilize supply chain portals and warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor and manage inventory.

Provide training and support to staff for effective system usage.

Technology Integration:

Identify and implement technological advancements to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

Analyse data and generate insights for performance improvement.

Innovative Problem-Solving:

Apply design thinking principles to develop creative solutions for operational challenges.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new workflows and processes.

Distribution and Logistics:

Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of furniture products.

Monitor and manage shipping schedules to meet customer expectations.

Team Leadership:

Manage and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity and compliance with safety standards.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Generate regular reports on inventory, operational efficiency, and departmental performance.

Warehouse HSE and Safety Compliance and standards are maintained.
