Talentspoc is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeon to join a prestigious healthcare institution in the UAE.
The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, surgical treatment, and ongoing care for patients with complex neurological disorders affecting the brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the neurosurgeon will deliver advanced neurosurgical interventions with a strong focus on patient safety and positive clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform detailed neurological assessments and neurosurgical consultations.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of neurosurgical conditions including brain tumors, spinal deformities, trauma, vascular disorders, and degenerative diseases.
• Plan and execute elective and emergency neurosurgical operations using modern surgical techniques and technologies.
• Interpret neuroimaging studies such as MRI, CT scans, angiograms, and X-rays to guide clinical decision-making.
• Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care alongside multidisciplinary teams including neurologists, radiologists, anesthetists, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Manage neurocritical care patients and coordinate with intensive care units when necessary.
• Document all clinical findings, surgical procedures, and patient progress accurately and promptly.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, clinical audits, research, and teaching activities to support ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
• Educate patients and families about neurosurgical conditions, treatment plans, risks, and recovery expectations.
Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Postgraduate qualification and board certification in Neurosurgery.
Substantial clinical experience in neurosurgical practice, including complex brain and spinal surgeries.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing both elective and emergency neurosurgical cases.
Strong knowledge of neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and advanced surgical techniques.
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
Effective communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare settings.
