Role Overview
- Position: Consultant / Specialist Neurosurgeon
- Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
- Hospital Type: Private / Government / Multispecialty / Tertiary Care (JCI-accredited)
- Experience Required: Minimum 3–5+ years post board certification
- Clinical Scope: Brain surgery, spine surgery, neurotrauma, and minimally invasive neurosurgical proceduresThe successful candidate will provide comprehensive neurosurgical care, working alongside neurologists, intensivists, and rehabilitation specialists.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and surgically manage brain, spine, and peripheral nervous system disorders
• Perform cranial surgeries, spine surgeries, tumor resections, and neurotrauma procedures
• Conduct minimally invasive and image-guided neurosurgical interventions
• Manage complex neurological conditions, including brain tumors, vascular malformations, and spinal disorders
• Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care, including ICU coordination
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurology, oncology, radiology, and rehabilitation
• Participate in emergency neurosurgical services and on-call rotations
• Ensure adherence to clinical governance, patient safety, and international surgical protocols
• Contribute to clinical audits, research, and continuous medical education
• Mentor junior doctors and surgical trainees
Eligibility & Board Recognition

- UK CCT / FRCS (Neurosurgery)
