Position Overview
A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Hand Surgeon with UK CCT to join its specialist surgical team. UK-trained Consultant Hand Surgeons are actively practicing in UAE healthcare facilities, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Diagnose and manage complex hand, wrist, and upper-limb conditions.
ā¢ Perform elective and emergency hand and wrist procedures.
ā¢ Manage hand trauma, tendon and nerve injuries, fractures, and soft-tissue conditions.
ā¢ Perform appropriate reconstructive and microsurgical procedures.
ā¢ Provide pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up.
ā¢ Work closely with orthopedic, plastic surgery, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary teams.
ā¢ Participate in clinical audits, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives
MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
UK CCT in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery, with relevant Hand Surgery fellowship/training.
Relevant post-CCT experience in Hand & Upper Limb Surgery.
FRCS or equivalent specialist qualification preferred.
Current GMC/specialist registration or equivalent professional registration.
Eligible for UAE Consultant/Specialist classification, subject to the applicable PQR and final authority assessment.

Requirements
- ā¢MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree
- ā¢UK CCT in Trauma Orthopaedic Surgery or Plastic Surgery
- ā¢Relevant Hand Surgery fellowship/training
- ā¢Relevant post-CCT experience in Hand Upper Limb Surgery
- ā¢Current GMC/specialist registration or equivalent
- ā¢Eligible for UAE Consultant/Specialist classification
- ā¢Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills

- ā¢FRCS or equivalent specialist qualification
