ABOUT THE ROLE
A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its autoimmune, inflammatory joint
disease and connective tissue disorder services and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Rheumatologist to join its
growing clinical team. The role is designed for internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement, strong

ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by
experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and manage inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue disease, vasculitis, gout, osteoporosis and
autoimmune disorders.
- Prescribe and monitor DMARDs, biologics, immunosuppressants and infusion therapies safely.
- Perform joint assessments, injections and musculoskeletal ultrasound where within scope.
- Coordinate care with nephrology, dermatology, pulmonology, ophthalmology, orthopedics and physiotherapy.
- Educate patients on disease control, medication safety, lifestyle and flare management.
- Support registry participation, audit, safety monitoring and evidence-based protocols.
Requirements
Applications are welcome from internationally trained consultant rheumatologist candidates holding recognised
qualifications such as:
- American Board of Internal Medicine - Rheumatology
- UK CCT / MRCP with rheumatology training
- European Board / national specialist registration
- Royal College Certification (Canada)
- Australian FRACP
- Arab Board
- DM / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
