We are partnering with a leading JCI-accredited, multispecialty healthcare group in Dubai seeking a highly skilled Consultant / Specialist in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) to join their expanding rehabilitation and pain management division. Role Overview
As a Consultant/ Specialist Physiatrist in Dubai, you will lead comprehensive rehabilitation programs aimed at restoring function, improving quality of life, and optimizing recovery for patients with acute and chronic physical impairments.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional impairments
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs for conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, and sports injuries
• Perform interventional procedures including joint injections, nerve blocks, and ultrasound-guided treatments
• Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and pain specialists for multidisciplinary care
• Monitor patient progress, functional outcomes, and adjust rehabilitation plans accordingly
• Provide post-operative rehabilitation guidance in coordination with orthopedic and neurosurgical teams
• Lead pain management strategies including non-surgical and minimally invasive approaches
• Educate patients and families on recovery pathways, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with DHA and international healthcare standards
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous medical education
Eligibility & Board Recognition
We are seeking Board Certified PM&R Specialists / Consultants from globally recognised systems:
- American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (ABPMR)
- UK CCT / GMC Specialist Register
- European Board Certification
- Canadian / Australian Fellowship
- Arab Board / FCPS / MD PM&R
- Minimum 3–5+ years post-board experience preferred

Requirements
- •Board Certified PM&R Specialist from globally recognized systems (ABPMR, UK CCT/GMC, European Board, Canadian/Australian Fellowship, Arab Board/FCPS/MD PM&R)
- •Minimum 3–5+ years post-board experience preferred
- •DHA License eligibility or active license is an advantage
- •Ability to perform interventional procedures (joint injections, nerve blocks, ultrasound-guided treatments)
